The southern edge is still lined with apartments. At the top of the
hill (on the San Antonio side) is the
McLaughlin House complex, featuring
10 units in three buildings. West of it is the complex at 510 West 8th, owned for
many years by Louise Trull.
On the Nueces side, the three little houses still stand at 807-811 Nueces,
but they are now occupied by offices. A large office building stands
at 812 San Antonio.
